Agent Joy Van Wyngarden
Raised on a row-crop farm in Southeast Iowa, Joy developed an early appreciation for the land and the people who work it at a young age. Her upbringing instilled a strong work ethic, a deep respect for agriculture, and a lasting connection to rural communities—principles that continue to influence the way she approaches her work today.
In 2020, Joy graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agriculture and Communications and began her career as a conservation professional, working closely with farmers and landowners across Iowa. In that role, she helped implement a wide range of conservation projects and cost-share programs designed to enhance both productive farmland and wildlife habitat. Through this experience, she gained valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges landowners face as they balance productivity, stewardship, and long-term land value.
Today, Joy brings together her agricultural roots, conservation background, and passion for the outdoors to serve buyers and sellers of land across Iowa. She understands that land represents far more than an investment—it’s about legacy, opportunity, and a way of life. Her knowledge of both agricultural production and land management allows her to offer a well-rounded perspective on every property she represents.
Additionally, Joy has built a strong social media following through her authentic outdoor lifestyle and passion for land stewardship. She leverages modern marketing, high-quality photography, and drone imagery to showcase properties in a way that reaches a broad audience and brings each piece of land to life.
Beyond real estate, Joy remains actively involved in the conservation community and is passionate about the future of Iowa agriculture. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Joy currently resides in Dallas County, Iowa with her boyfriend, Josh, and their two dogs, Jax and Clutch.
